Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Mason County, Kentucky. The job is in a gas distribution network. Your main tasks: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Driving licence for travel between sites 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
