Tig welder wanted in Marion County

Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Marion County, Ohio. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Day-to-day duties: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
