Health and safety supervisor • Pike County, Arkansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Pike County, Arkansas. The job is at a manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Rotating shifts.
