We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Wheeler County, Georgia. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day to day you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
