Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder spray gun operator in Barbour County, Alabama. You will be based in a busy paint shop. The role involves: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations What we are looking for: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience.
