Immediate opening: we are hiring an access control officer in Lafayette County, Florida. The job is in a CCTV control room. On a typical shift you will operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; keep watch on the perimeter fence and parking area; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point. You should have: • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours • Height and weight as per security norms • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $21 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
