Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Kusilvak Census Area, Alaska. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight The role involves weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
