Great opportunity: lathe programmer-operator (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Botetourt County, Virginia. You will work at a busy machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
