Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Wayne County, New York. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Day-to-day duties: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool 5+ years on the tools preferred.
