Great opportunity: sample machinist (Plateau State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a sample machinist in Kanke, Plateau State. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance The role involves inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
