Tailor machinist — Smith County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Smith County, Kansas. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching On the job you will handle: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
