Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket The role involves: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
