Aluminium and glass installer — Dubuque County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium and glass installer in Dubuque County, Iowa. You will work at a glass and aluminium factory. Day to day you will install toughened and laminated safety glass; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead. Ideal candidate: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
