Hoist operator wanted in Washington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hoist operator in Washington County, Kansas. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Day to day you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
