Immediate opening: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Wyandot County, Ohio. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces On a typical shift you will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
