Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Oconee County, Georgia. You will be based in a residential housing project. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Your main tasks: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
