Gang bricklayer — Awka North

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Awka North, Anambra State. You will work on a busy housing site. On the job you will handle: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Meals and transport allowance provided.
