Requirements: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Able to read construction drawings and specifications Day-to-day duties: • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness Full-time, day shift.
