Great opportunity: hand presser (Missouri)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hand presser in Carter County, Missouri. You will be based at a garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Day-to-day duties: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
