Fabrication workshop technician wanted in Midlothian

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Midlothian, Scotland. On a typical shift you will drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile. Ideal candidate: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits Meals and transport allowance provided.
