Aluminium TIG welder wanted in Ontonagon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Ontonagon County, Michigan. The role involves: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Part-time with flexible hours.
