Urgent requirement: lift installation engineer (New Jersey)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Your main tasks: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Six days a week, one day off.
