Great opportunity: formwork carpenter (Wales)

Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters Requirements: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
