Stainless steel welder — Udi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Udi, Enugu State. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
