Garment machinist wanted in Jefferson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Jefferson County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Your main tasks: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
