Immediate opening: confectioner (South Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a confectioner in Chester County, South Carolina. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. On the job you will handle: • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them You should have: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Rotating shifts.
