Gas commissioning technician wanted in Karnes County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Karnes County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes You should have: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces 1+ years on the tools preferred.
