Join our team: we are hiring a TIG welder in Lyon County, Iowa. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Your main tasks: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut 1+ years on the tools preferred.
