We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Morton County, Kansas. The job is at an automobile body shop. The role involves lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
