The role involves: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather 6+ years on the tools preferred.
