Thermal insulation technician wanted in Greene County

Now hiring: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Greene County, Alabama. You will be based on flat roofs and terraces. The role involves: • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges 6+ years on the tools preferred.
