Immediate opening: we are hiring an excavator operator in Mason County, West Virginia. The job is in an open-cast quarry. Day to day you will clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up. Requirements: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence We offer $27 per hour plus benefits. Full-time, day shift.
