Now hiring: we are hiring a floor screeder in Washington County, Indiana. Your main tasks: • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
