Fire and safety officer • Baker County, Oregon

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Baker County, Oregon. The job is at a busy construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors You should have: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
