Steel fixer wanted in Lane County

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Lane County, Oregon. You will work at a high-rise construction project. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Day-to-day duties: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
