Argon welder • Minidoka County, Idaho

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Minidoka County, Idaho. You will be based on a structural steel site. The role involves inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
