Vacancy available: bench joiner (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bench joiner in City of Fairfax, Virginia. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Day-to-day duties: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists You should have: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Own basic hand tools • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
