Day to day you will report maintenance faults — leaking taps, blown bulbs, faulty AC — to engineering; vacuum carpets, mop hard floors and dust every surface in the room; restock the housekeeping trolley with linen, cloths and chemicals; carry out turndown service in the evening; strip and make beds with fresh linen and tight hospital corners; empty bins, replace liners and segregate the waste.
