Earthmoving equipment operator — Erie County

What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Your main tasks: • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
