Aluminium tig welder — Binji

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Binji, Sokoto State. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. On the job you will handle: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
