We are recruiting: we are hiring a janitor in South Central Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based at a school or college. Requirements: • Comfortable operating floor scrubbers and vacuum equipment • Flexible to cover weekends and rotating shifts • DBS or police check for site-based work The role involves empty waste bins and replace the bin liners; sanitise high-touch points like door handles and light switches; sweep, mop and vacuum floors across all assigned areas; clean and disinfect toilets, urinals, sinks and washroom fittings; mix cleaning chemicals to the correct dilution and follow COSHH data sheets; make up beds and change bed linen and towels. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
