Urgent requirement: banksman (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a banksman in Ford County, Illinois. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket On a typical shift you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
