Vacancy available: RCC mason (England)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a RCC mason in Lancashire, England. The role involves patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works 6+ years on the tools preferred.
