Vacancy available: natural gas fitter (Louisiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Saint Landry Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious The role involves: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
