Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift technician in Laurens County, South Carolina. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On the job you will handle: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables What we are looking for: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Full-time, day shift.
