Immediate opening: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Columbia County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters The role involves spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; refuel the machine and record running hours; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
