We are recruiting: steel fixing chargehand (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Runnels County, Texas. You will work at a high-rise construction project. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day-to-day duties: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
