Machinist wanted in Wood County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machinist in Wood County, West Virginia. Day to day you will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
