Concrete finisher wanted in City of Waynesboro

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete finisher in City of Waynesboro, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors Requirements: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
