The role involves replace brake pads, discs and callipers; recharge and service the air-conditioning system; trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems; service and replace timing belts and chains; replace alternators, starter motors and batteries; read fault codes and clear them after the repair. Requirements: • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps • Confident using diagnostic scan tools 6+ years on the tools preferred.
